I’m a professional consulting astrologer, certified Level II by the National Council on Geocosmic Research-Professional Astrologers Alliance (NCGR-PAA). I’m also on the board of NCGR, serving as program director and associate editor of the Geocosmic Journal, and NCGR’s New York City Chapter, as editor of its newsletter, The Ingress. I began to study astrology in 2003, and I started to give readings professionally in 2013.
After graduation from The Governor’s Academy, in Byfield, Massachusetts, I studied art history at Tufts University, specializing in 20th-century American painting. To everyone’s amazement, including my own, this prepared me for a satisfying career in financial services media. I’ve held senior positions in marketing, sales, writing, editing, research, and management at Institutional Investor, CFO Publishing, Global Finance Publishing, Publicitas North America, and currently as associate editor of custom content at a Crain Communications publication. I grew up in New Hampshire, I live in New York City, and I love Rome.
Friends describe me as private, discreet, and a little mysterious—but I’m a Scorpio, after all. As such, I'm willful, passionate, and in search of answers. They also describe me as honest, friendly, helpful, practical, thorough, professional, considerate, experienced, and insightful. I'd say they are too.
My approach is based on tropical Western astrology, and I keep it down to earth as I draw on psychological, evolutionary, and humanistic approaches. I begin and end with Placidus houses while factoring in what I find from whole-sign and equal house systems. I recognize traditional sign rulers and use outer-planet rulers as complements.
